In 2009, ahead of the Climate change summit held in Copenhagen, 54 African countries drafted a negotiation proposal demanding up to 100 billion US dollar annual climate compensation from wealthy nations for the impact of climate change on African countries caused by the industrialized nations.

The wealthy nations did not want to compensate Africa, so the US, France and the UK used their diplomatic clout to pressure aid-recipient African leaders appoint Meles Zenawi to lead the African negotiation team, for they knew Meles would sell his own mother for $1.

When the African negotiation team led by Meles Zenawi arrived at Copenhagen, Meles threw away the African proposal and instead submitted a proposal given to him by French president that asked for only $10 billion dollars in compensation. Obama promised Meles that he would receive $1 billion dollars in aid for betraying Africa, however Meles refused to sign the accord unless he sees the $1 billion dollars deposited into his bank account.

Meles' threats were not received very well by Washington, and as a Wikileaks cable later revealed, the US had threatened Meles to sign the accord and betray Africa without ifs or buts, and it reads as follow....

According to Wikileaks, on February 2nd 2009, a cable from Addis Ababa reports a meeting between the US undersecretary of state Maria Otero and the late Ethiopian prime minister, Meles Zenawi, who led the African Union’s climate change negotiations at Copenhagen.

The confidential cable records a blunt US threat to Zenawi: sign the accord or discussion ends now!

The funny thing is that, after the summit had concluded, Meles Zenawi phoned Barack Obama asking for the $1 billion promised to him for betraying Africa, and Obama's reply was "what are you talking about, Zenawi? Didn't we just send you some food-aid? Eat well, Zenawi. Eat well!"

That mfkr was obviously the biggest clown that Ethiopia had ever seen. We have now the little clown, who can’t construct a simple sentence in English albeit he studied Qubee for years.
