“…ትናንት በዕለተ ቅዱስ ጊዮርጊስ መከላከያው ከኦነግ ሸኔ ጋር ተቀናጅቶ ወደ ማጀቴ ሄደ። እነ አርበኛ ደራሲ አሰግድ እለቱ ሊቀሰማእታት ቅዱስ ጊዮርጊስ ነውና ቅዳሴ አስቀድሰን ሳንጨርስ ወደ ውጊያው አንገባም ብለው በእምነት ጸኑ። ቅዳሴው አልቆ፣ ተአምረ ማርያም ሰምተው፣ ተባርከው ወደ ውጊያው ገቡ። ከዚያ በኋላ የሆነውን መከላከያ ተብዬው ይናገር። ቁስለኞች ሳይቀሩ ከሚሴ ውሰዱን እስኪሉ ድረስ ተጨረገዱ።

“…የትናንቱ የማጀቴው እንዲህ አልፎ ትናንት ማታ ዙጢ እና ሸዋሮቢት የኦሮሞ ወታደሮቹ ትንኮሳ ጀመሩ። ወታደሩ ግን አልዋጋም አለ። አዛዦቹ በከዘራ እየመቱ ጭምር ግቡ አሏቸው። ወታደሩ እምቢኝ አለ። የሆነው የመከላከያ አዛዥ በስናይፐር ተሸኘ። መሸ ነጋ፣ ዛሬም ሆነ። መከላከያ ውጊያ ጀመረ። ነገር ግን መብረቅ የቀላቀለ ዝናብ ከየት መጣ ሳይባል አወረደው። ለጥቂት ጊዜ በረደ። አሁን ሸዋሮቢት በዙ 23 ጭምር ገጥመዋል። እንዴት ነው ስላቸው። አብሽሩ ጥሩ እየሄደ ነው እያሉኝ ነው።

When the invaders Orommuma asked to search her home, she instructed them no man can search another man's house warning "my man's den is sacred and I am here to defend it. You come her to loot my wealth jewelry, gun, birr and most of my dignity and privacy. You dear to do, I will steal your dirt Orommuma lives".
