In chapter seven of his book መደመር (Medemer), Dr. Abiy explains how to get by without eating Enjera by substituting ቦሎቄ.

Medemer's philosophy shares many similarities with Friedrich Engel's philosophy, however, according to my research, Medemer's philosophy covers most of the gaps left by Engels.
