a) Yes, he will have more favorability than Abiy Ahmed.
b) No, he will remain as transitional Governor of Tigray.
d) His life would be endanger by Adowa and Axum Tigre, because of his Amhara background.
c) Neither him nor Abiy Ahmed will be the PM in the near future. Both will be deposed.

PM Abiy will stay in power for the 2nd term! 2 + 4 = 6 years remaining! The new PM after PM Abiy may have to be from Amhara.

As of now, the poll suggests that both Getachew Reda and Abiy Ahmed would not last. About 39% believed they both would be deposed. The odds of Getachew would be the next PM is very slim as there is also a countering effect of unhappy Adowa and Axum Tigres likely endanger his life, particularly had been blamed for being leaker to the enemy.

The PP government not only failed to close the war decisively but picked a brand new fight with a wrong party. On top of that the economy is in the brink of collapse. PP is finished.

The 2nd well organized group who has the backing of the West is the TPLF. If they played their card right they will be back in power.
