The 2nd phase of the Orthodox Synod split is in the pipe line!
Ultimately the existing Synod shall be further divided to those who want to resolve the issue with Oromia based clergy in peaceful manner and those Amhara religiopolitical exterimists that are looking to confront the Abiy government with the objective of bringing down Abiy from power. Abune Mathias will be leading the group who will be working to resolve the issue in a peaceful manner.
