What is going on in the Orthodox Church is a power struggle among the clergy and it is not about cutting the blood vessel of the Orthodox Church to kill it. . None of them want to destroy the Chruch though we know that the politicians would like to see the church divided so that they could control it. The following new organizational structure is expected to help the Orthodox church to expand it's mission and further penetrate Afar, Somalia and other parts of the country with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The existing Orthodox Synod and the splinter group have to calm down and resolve their problems through dialogue and discussion rather than inciting turbulence and calling the Orthodox Church members to rise to defend the Chruch. Every body has to learn the consequences of failing to resolve issues in a peaceful manner from the Tigray war.

Proposed new Structure :

One Arch-Patriarch & the following Patriarchs reporting to him!

- Patriarch Tigray
- Patriarch Amhara
- Patriarch Oromia
- Patriarch Gamebella and Benshangul
- Patriarch Southern Ethiopia
- Patriarch Afar & Somalia
- Patriarch of the rest of the world
Organizational structure of the Roman Chatolic is attached :https://www.google.com/search?q=organiz ... e&ie=UTF-8
The new structure assumes power to be decentralized all the way down to each local Chruch. The Chruch has to also establish systems , policies, procedures that enables it to control it's finance in a transparent manner and avoid financial and administrative corruption . With regard to language , the Gospel has to be preached using the local language . However ,the country could have one or two national languages ( may be Amharic as a national language or both Amharic and Oromifa as national languages)

We know ascaries want to be part of Ethiopia. It is foolishness to move from a wide space to a narrow one just to see a new flag! What did ascaries gained over the last three decades nothing except transforming Eriteria to stone age.
