These all all fairly new T-72 tanks; we know who owned them as recently as a few weeks ago.

Shaebia needs to send a well written “Thank You!" letter to Weyanes. It brought down Eritrea’s defense budget by 100% for the next decade. People who are returning from Asmara in the last couple of weeks are saying “Asha Golgol”; in the outskirts of Asmara, which is a third in size to Asmara itself has been overwhelmed by the huge amount of military hardwares, from tanks to BMs, rockets, trucks, V8s and pickups and more. This hardware was perhaps the 80% of the entire Ethiopian arm had in Tigray. When Abiy made a costly decision to withdraw from Tigray after liberating it all, his lazy ENDF soldiers again left almost the entire armaments to Weyane and drove south. Nonetheless, Shaebia was able to take almost all back from Weyane for a second time.
