[Axumezana]

As the Kingdom of Israel was divided into two due to King Solomon's sin and clan based rivalry between Jeuda and Ephrem, smilarly the Ethiopian Orthodox Church is being divided due to the sin of it's leadership and the ethinic rivalry between Tigray, Amhara and Oromia. For generations, the Church's , leadership has focused on earthly politics rather than building the kingdom of God , have been involved in deep corruption and polluted by non-biblical teachings to the extent of practicing & tolerating idol worship and demonic teachings and activities such as ድግምት & አስማት. God's plan is to shake and refine the Chruch so that it could effectively carry out the task God bestowed on it to prepare the world for the coming of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.
