Jae,

American interest in the horn does change. Biden or not, it will remain the same. However, you are in the dark. You don't know the real relationship between the US and the Isayas led government in Eritrea. Isayas is a one man show. I don't even believe those near to him know much about his relations with the US. Trump may act as is he has a little interest in Africa. He doesn't. The the main stay in foreign affairs, the bureau·crats run the show behind the curtain regardless of who the president is. The question is how do they see Isayas himself. If he messes with their interest, trust me, he will be gone. He is smart. He knows where the line is drawn. Guys like you eat anything that is fed to them. Slowly but surely, you will wake up from the slumber.

Zmeselo,

This is far sophisticated way than the way you are trained to see it. The wheat thing was is an enticement for the agame to stay in power. BTW, that arrangement has expired. The agame is still in that box as well, except this time around his role is different. You have to look at it from systematic point view. Put Eritrea and Ethiopia are in same box. They system is what happens inside the box. You know the term out of the box means ? In other words, you are no different than the weyane cadre inside the box. You two are antagonistic who serve the same purpose. However, you just can't see it. It is a bit complicated. Isayas on the other hand knows the box and uses to his own ends. He knows how far to do and test the waters. But he can't do that unless he has uncontestable and unwavering power over the Eritrean people. He has it. He is a genius by the way. History may be or not be kind to him, but his story will be written in books many decades if not centuries into the future.
