In 3-4 weeks, Oromia Synod will dissolve a good part of it and join the Ethiopian synod. 3 to 4 of it's members will continue the die hard way to make the drama look real.

In 4 weeks, abiys popularity will go 50% higher than what it is now amongst goofy Ethiopianists.

what semira says about goofy ethiopianists is correct. they are large in number. actually they are majority. they could be amhara, oromo, southerner or a mix of here and there. a good deal of these people dropped supporting Abiy recently. from what i understand what she said is that Abiy will attempt to get 50% of those back again by appearing as a wise peace maker and guardian hero.

And what is your point? Losing 1.2 million people for a war for nothing is the right thing to do? If the war wrapped up decisively with the Annilation of the TPLF we might even consider it for a debate. The TPLF leadership is intact and they are keeping the loot. Besides they have an agreement that will allow Welkayit and Raya back to Tigrai. So, what was the point of going to war at the cost of 1.2 million souls and billions of Birr. And the war is not finished yet on pause until the next one ignites.
