It's all a money-making scheme. Nothing else.
During the last 20 years, the TPLF terrorist group sent over 30,000 of its cadres to the Diaspora pretending to be "Eritrean refugees," just because Meles Zenawi at one point had felt that the Eritrean and Ethiopian Diaspora communities have become a thorn to his side and he needed to create a large TPLF Diaspora community to quell the threats to his self image. Following the 2018 overthrow of the TPLF terrorist regime, its cash-strapped 30,000 TPLF Diaspora cadres had to find new ways to finance their day-to-day operations and many of them resorted to making money by producing funny songs and monetizing their Youtube channels.
