Try putting yourself in Getachew's shoes. What do you do when you're forced to hole up in one city that is surrounded 360 degrees with active federal forces, and the only time you can leave the city under siege is when you travel to South Africa to sign an unconditional surrender and a disarmament agreement....
The people of Tigray who have lost over a million of their children in the war are not lashing out at Getachew Reda for signing the surrender and disarmament agreement, but rather for starting a war that destroyed Tigray and exterminated its entire young generation.
