It is now very clear to everybody that the USA has directed Abiy to ally and work with TPLF and finish Isaias. Therefore, it is expected that Isaias is working on his contingency plan to punish both Abiy and TPLF. The cards on his or close to his hand are , the disgruntled Amharas due to the reconcilation of Abiy and TPLF and screaming " Welkait & Raya are Red lines for Amharas". He can also reactivate his dormant cells in Oromia to ally themselves with OLA and attack Abiy from his belly. He has been also working to reorganize the Tigray Demhit and he will also be ready to accept any splinter or opposing group against TPLF from Tigray with open arms and using them to harass TPLF and Tigray. What Isaias does not have at this stage is " time & Space" . This time both Abiy and TPLF will not give him time and they are going to try to finish him and most probably December 2022 shall be the burial month of Isaias and his dictatorial dreams. The Humera-Eritrea route also be closed soon and Isaias will have very limited breathing space in Ethiopia.
