This is unusual, a lot of countries have sent messages of condolences and support to Somalia after a deadly terrorist attack in Mogadishu, The United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union are the root cause of all the problems Somalia is facing today.

The United States has set its sights on Somalia but Somalia shouldn’t jump on the US anti-China bandwagon, It needs to avoid at all cost entanglement in US-China rivalry and ensure that its foreign policy remains oriented to its own national interests.

On March 18-2022, China has gifted US$ 5 million worth of military hardware, including vehicles, trucks, ambulances and mine detectors to Somalia, Somalia/Horn of Africa is a geopolitical priority for China.

The United Kingdom will continue to stand with Somalia

The successful conclusion of the electoral process and the peaceful transition of power gives Somalia an opportunity to make progress in achieving its national objectives and in the fight against Al-Shabaab. We encourage all Somalis to work together and seize this opportunity.

The United Kingdom will continue to stand with Somalia and we commend President Hassan Sheikh’s determination to defeat Al-Shabaab.

The Pentagon leaders and Somalia's leaders usually meet once every five years at the Pentagon because Somalia contains major reserves of critical minerals that are needed by the United States Department of Defense, thus securing Somalia's minerals is essential for America’s national security, Fighting al-shabaab is a cynical smokescreen.

New minerals, never seen on Earth before, found in Somalia

November 28, 2022 By Adrianna MacPherson

A team of researchers has discovered at least two new minerals that have never before been seen on Earth in a 15 tonne meteorite found in Somalia — the ninth largest meteorite ever found.

“Whenever you find a new mineral, it means that the actual geological conditions, the chemistry of the rock, was different than what’s been found before,” says Chris Herd, a professor in the Department of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences and curator of the University of Alberta’s Meteorite Collection. “That’s what makes this exciting: In this particular meteorite you have two officially described minerals that are new to science.”

The two minerals found came from a single 70 gram slice that was sent to the U of A for classification, and there already appears to be a potential third mineral under consideration. If researchers were to obtain more samples from the massive meteorite, there’s a chance that even more might be found, Herd notes.

The two newly discovered minerals have been named elaliite and elkinstantonite. The first receives its name from the meteorite itself, dubbed the “El Ali” meteorite because it was found in near the town of El Ali, in the Hiiraan region of Somalia.

World Bank forecasts Somalia's economy to grow 2.7 pct in 2022

Source: Xinhua Editor: huaxia 2022-11-29

MOGADISHU, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Somalia's economy is expected to grow by 2.7 percent in 2022, down from 2.9 percent in 2021, amid a global environment characterized by multiple shocks, high volatility and uncertainty, the World Bank projected on Tuesday.

The World Bank's latest Somalia Economic Update report says a recovery in demand is expected in 2023 when most of the shocks currently dragging on the recovery are expected to dissipate.

"An uptick in consumption and investment, combined with faster growth of Somalia's trading partners, supports a forecast of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth of 3.6 percent in 2023 and 3.7 percent in 2024," says the report.

If the USA ceased its unhealthy obsession and interference in Somali affairs, Somalia’s economy will grow very quickly, Somalis are business minded people and Somalia is a country teeming with natural resources the world covets.

More than thirty years ago, the United States and its European allies invaded Somalia under the pretext of humanitarian intervention, since then, US has bombed Somalia every year.

Old question but it is still relevant today, It's an excerpt from a 30 years old document.

The answer is a big fat yes.

America’s hidden agendas and ulterior motives were and still are essentially the same - to secure Somalia's oil, natural gas, minerals and to project military power in Somali ocean.(Depending on a ship’s speed, It usually takes between 6 and 8 days to actually cross the Somali ocean from Djibouti to Kenya border, According to USMMA website).

The USA used destabilization tactics to overthrow Mohamed Siad Barre government and eventually invaded Somalia under the pretense of humanitarian intervention, Now, more than 30 years later, Somalia is still under the firm grip of the United States of America imperialism.

The United States and its European allies are the root causes of all Somalia miseries.
