If you're in your 20s-30s this is your greatest opportunity to invest because majority of the market has crashed and especially the SP500.

Advice to young folks:

A. Invest whatever you have - (IRA, 401K, Taxable Brokerage)
B. Forget about bonds for now - Concentrate on equity Mutual Funds/ETFs.

Advice to older folks:

A. Don't panic - If you're in your 50s then you have about a decade for the market to fully recover and grow.
B. Don't panic - If you're in your 60s then you should extend your retirement by few years.
C. Make sure to buy I Series Bonds, REIT, and TIPs, and Corporate Bonds in that order - You want to have 60% Bonds and 40% equity before your retirement.

Remember never sell whether you're old or young but rather ride the market because eventually the market will recover.
It seems the capital system of America is about to crush and the best advice for investors should be to Buy commodity like Gold and silver that is of course if the Russians don't finish off the planet.
