ይህ ሰው እይ ከስራ ተባሯል፤ ወይ ማሟላት ያለበት ነገር አቅቶት የጡረታ ጥቅማ ጥቅም ተከልክሏል! ብርሃኑ ነጋ ልክ እንደ ልደቱ አያሌው መልስ ነፍጎ እንዲዘጋው ያስፈልጋል !

You got some points there to be honest, excluding the conspiracy theories for a moment , because we don't know for sure and we have no proof one way or the other about the relationship b/n pp and Dr Birhan, i highly doubt there is an issue there. I was just focusing on the logic of the criticism thrown at the Minister. I kind of expected criticism coming from a Dr to Dr be more evidence based and critical not just personal attaxk or vendeta because there are many audience and expections to the duos' conversation .

ስህተቱ ሲጀመር ያዘጋጁ ነው ። ዳኛቸው አሰፋ ያችው የዛሬ 40 አመት ተገዶ ያነነባት የነ ሃይደገርና ኒሼ መቀባጥር ካልሆነ በተቀር ከፍተኛ ትምህርት ምንድን ነው? እንዴት እይደራጃል፣ እንዴት የተገበራል የሚባሉት ነገሮች ሃባ አያውቃቸውም ። ይህ በEdducation Ph.D የሰሩ ሰዎች የሚያቁት ጉዳይ ነው ።

ማለትም የዳኛቸው መልስ ፈጽሞ ከውይይቱ ርዕስ ውጭ ነው ። ለዚህ ነበር ሙሉ ወይይቱን እንድጸሙት የለጠፍኩ ።

አቢይ የብርሃኑን ስም ለማጥፋት ጥርሰ ወላቃው ሰካራም ዳኛቸውን ላከው የሚለው ካይምሮ ጉም የወጣ ምናብ ነው ። ዳኛቸው is a political nobody! የተረሳ የአረቄ ቤት ተረበኛ ነው ። ሰዎች አረቄ እየጋበዙት መሸታ ቤት ሲለፋደድ የሚያድር ሰው ነው ። አቢይ ብርሃኑ ከስራው ማንሳት ከፈለገ ማለትም ከኢዜማ ፖለቲካ በተያያዘ ማለት ምንም ስም አያጠፋም ። ከብልጽግና ፖሊሲ ጋር አልሄድክም ብሎ ያነሳዋል ።

ወዲ አንተም የብርሃኑ ጠልነት በሽታ አለብህ ሰውዬውን ስለማታቀው ማለት ነው ። ብርሃኑ በጣም ግትር፣ በጣም በራሱ የሚተማመን እና ካመነበት ነገር የሚነቃንቀው ሰው አይደለም ። በብርሃኑ ኢንተገሪቲ ላይ ችግር ያላቸው ሰዎች እነሱ እንደ ሚፈልጉት ያልሆነላቸው ሰዎች ናቸው ፤ በቃ!

ብርሃኑም ሆነ ኢዜማ በአቢይ የፖለቲካ ባህሪይ፣ በኦሮሞ የፖለቲካ አምቢሽን፣ በደቡብ ክልልና በነጉራጌ ጉዳይ ሳቢያ ውጥረት ውስጥ አይገባም ማለት አይደለም ። ግ ን አንድ ሪስክ ወስጄ ማለት የምችለው ነገር ዛሬ ላይ አቢይ አዲስ የትምሀር ሚኒስትር መሾም የሚፈልግ አይመስለኝም።

አንድ ሊሆን የሚችል ነገር በቅርቡ ያገሪቱ የዩኒቨርሲቲ መምህራን ደሞዝ ካላደገ ስራ እናቆማለን ብለው ትልቅ ቀውስ ነበር ። እኔ እስከማውቀው ብርሃኑ የመምህራኖቹ የማስተማር ብቃትና እስኪል እንዲሻሻል ስልጠና መስጠትና ደሞዛቸውን ማሳደግ ላይ መደገፍ ብቻ ሳይሆን ሃሳቡን ያቀረበው እሱ ነበር። ስልጠናው እየተሰጠ ነው ። የደሞዝ ጭማሪው ግን መንግስት እምቢ ብሏል ። ከዚህ ጋር ተያይዞ አቢይና ብርሃኑ ሊጋጩ ይችሉ ይሆናል፤ ያም ቢሆን ማለት ነው ።

የነዳኛቸው መሰል ሹክሻክ የመለስ አሽቃባጮችም በብርሃኑ ላይ ያላቸው ተረብ ከዚሁ የደሞዝ ክልከላ ሊሆን ይችላል። ግን በምንም ስሌት ዳኛቸው ያቢይ ፕሮክሲ ተሳዳቢ ወይም ዲያቆን ዳንኤል ሁለተኛው አይደለ!!

Well, I know both of the fellows in the discussion, Prof. Berhanu Nega and Dr. Dagnachew Assefa, only from their public speeches and other appearances. Both seem to me patriotic citizens, ready to contribute in what they can for their country.

Prof. Berhanu Nega could be the most brilliant academician in his professional career, at the same time we can't also deny that he did also drop out from a university professorship to join in an armed guerrilla warfare against the government and that episod too is part of his curriculum vitea by now. Do we deny that?

If you deny, then explain please to us why people are required to provide their CV in an application for a job offering of any kind.

If that chapter of his life positively or negatively contributed to the overall qualification of Prof. Berhanu Nega shouldn't be debatted, if I am asked.

I was one of those who criticized his decision to drop out of his university professorship and travel to Eritrea to join in the guerrilla warfare back then, and I still do stand by my opinion.

What would Abiy Ahmed have been exploiting if the Prof. didn't have any weak spot in the first place, irrespective of the allegation is true or false? The inept internet gangs will never get tired of alleging Abiy this Abiy that. Worthless rodents!

If I am against the Prof. taking his current post in the country, no, in countrary I am happy that many of the stakeholders would get a spot in the whole of government structure and contribute towards the development of the country, including Prof. Berhanu, even with the weak spot on his back.

I don't think a country do need only those who can raise their arms to bring change, there is also an allegation that through that move Prof. Berhanu, like others before him, did collaborate with the arch enemies of the country. You can refute that, I only heard the allegation.

Trust me, Dr. Dagnachew had an assignment to pretended as whistle blower. He could not talk just like out of no where, regardless of his moral integrity and habit of uncensored speech. There is no question, some sort of irreconcilable interest between Abiy Ahmed and Berhanu Nega emerged. The fact that Abiy Ahmed has become too much of a collateral damage on the reputation of Dr. Berhanu, particularly many Gurage are not happy for his long silence about the right to be come "Kililil" as Addis Ababians were unhappy for the silence of EZEMA on the invasion or intrusion of OLF-PP in the residents life. I don't think a country do need only those who can raise their arms to bring change, there is also an allegation that through that move Prof. Berhanu, like others before him, did collaborate with the arch enemies of the country. You can refute that, I only heard the allegation.

Prof. Berhanu and any other academician in the country could also contribute towards a change in any capacity they have, without a need to necessarily go to another country to wage a guerrilla warfare from there, even when we know well that no organization did contribute significantly, if any, from there before and after him.

I am someone who believes in the power of knowledge, not power of PhD, which is simply a means to a goal like all other endeavors of going to school. It is not the title that you will going to earn, rather the understanding you will get by pursuing education, which matters in my view.

Jawar or someone else, if he or she is so good in his or her education then that person can also make a big and lasting impact towards one's goal. That is where the difference lies, not in earning a PhD title in my view. Earning the PhD could be a prerequisite for that.

It is not the title of a physician (Doctor) that someone may earn, but the impact that someone may create by exercising one's profession that makes the difference. This should be valid for all fields of scientific disciplines, if I may guess.

If professor Berhanu is so brilliant, like you said, I have no reason to dispute that, then his impact shouldn't only be limitted in correcting exam papers of his students. That is where you missed the point I am trying to highlight here.


There is a saying which goes roughly like "a single pen can be more powerful than 1000s of bullets" or something similar and for the most brilliant professor there wouldn't have been a need to travel as far as Asmera to make the needed impact, I guess, if the saying has any bearing here.
