Ethiopian govt is an inept govt.

Post by Cigar » 13 Aug 2022, 15:50

Where on earth is it seen or practiced that a sovereign nation allows, pressured by outside force entity or entities to solve its own internal affairs for god sake?
Ethiopia is acting as if tigray is a sovereign nation. And if so, why isn’t it let the agames declare their independence and then and only then should allow outside entities to help them solve the friction between two sovereign nations?
But as long as Ethiopia claims that tigray is a tiny, least important killil of Ethiopia, then the problem is an Ethiopian problem (not tigray’s) and thus only Ethiopia has the right to correct it by its federal rules of law….including by force.
Ethiopia is boldening the funfunat diaspora by letting them act as if they have a sovereign little tigray republic and are trying to be treated as such,
Man, the Ethiopian govt should grow some steel balls and take care of its cancer by itself with out an outside mediator or forced to do so in its own sovereign entity.
What is next?
Let the UN, the USA, the EU or the baboon gathering AU to chose its leadership or how many meals the Ethiopians should eat a day?

The motive is the overlapping interests between the OPDO government and what TPLF is seeking to accomplish. OPDO is for a controlled explosion where it is trying to decapitate opponents through internal divisions to finally claim the lion's share.

OpDO is in a pretense to be bending under pressure from the West While intentionally luring TpLF in to the arena. The problem however, is TPLF knew the game and plotting how to get rid of the novices in their own game. It is getting interesting:)

It's easy for you, a man who would not be on the frontlines to fight in tigray or elsewhere, to say this.
You are saying Ethiopia should do this, or do that, while you would be in safety, far, far away from any fighting there.
How convenient for you- you know it all and have all the answers, but would not participate in any of the actual solutions that you propose.
It's what is known as an ''armchair general.''

Regardless of who rules Ethiopia, be it Abiy, Demeke, Hagos WediWhatever, etc; they will always be beholden to those who control the funds, that poor Ethiopia unfortunately relies upon. Until Ethiopia can stand on its own two feet and at least be self reliant in the most important sectors, it cannot just say ''no'' to the Super-powers who give it billions annually to advance, of course, their interests in the region. OPDO led Ethiopia is no different. It also doesn't want to risk its own power being lost if it weakens itself too much fighting a perpetual war in tigray, and meanwhile, egypt is in somalia trying to use it as a proxy against Ethiopia, combine that with the weak economy and other issues; and you'd realize another war in tigray would be dumb to say the least.
Also remember, if a movement has popularity among the masses, it can essentially make the region in question, ungovernable- which is the situation in Tigray. The Tigrayans apparently back it, or at least enough of them do, to wage an effective guerrilla war against any conventional forces that would be sent there. Remember, fighting a conventional, standing army, is one thing---- but fighting a guerrilla army is an entirely different thing.
It's very easy for any, and all of us here online, to say ''why not send the army in'', why not fight, do this do that, but it's an entirely different story when it comes to actually doing that, in REAL LIFE, OFF the internet.
Stubbornly trying to keep fighting a guerrilla war, would lead to the collapse of the already wrecked Ethiopian economy, the army itself possibly, and that would have heavy consequences, which if we were to weigh against the potential benefits of ''subjugating'' tigray, would not be worth the expenditure in blood and treasure.

The Gov't is not only inept but also pretentious.it wants to be seen as serious in fighting TPLF which it declared terrorists while hunting down FANO who stood along ENDF to save Abiy's PP from being ousted by TPLF army.
Abiy wants both amhara and tigraye weaken ,preferably by keeping them at each others throat while none is
a potential threat to galla hegemony. how long Abiy and oromo company can play this dirty game to stay in power is a guess.

the notion TPLF can not be eliminated and foreign pressure are simply deliberate lies.
