When he brought up the idea of renovating and revitalizing the historical national palaces and other royal residences in the country, the fara and gagama Oromo politicians were upset (they wanted to spend the money instead onto the Arakie they love most) and declared "on our dead body".

They didn't articulate why they opposed the initiative any well, if they had one.

If many other countries around the world people do give due attention to their past, including their historical castles and other residentials of their dignitaries.
