Today, H.E Mr. Ali Ibrahim Ahmed, AMB of the State of Eritrea, Dean of the DC to the State of Qatar, received H.E AMB Kavier Karpakos, AMB of the State of Spain and H.E AMB Ali Ibrahim welcomed his counterpart & discussed ways to enhance REL and joint Cooperation b/n the two countries.

Ambassadors of various African countries, representatives of the Commonwealth Secretary General, UK Minister for Africa, Sec.General of the IMO & Africans in the diaspora gathered at the IMO HQ in London on 27 July 2022 to celebrate #AfricaDay2022.
This year’s theme, focused on the importance of addressing malnutrition and food insecurity. Across the continent, Africa faces stark developmental challenges; including food insecurity and increasing malnutrition.
In his opening remarks, His Excellency Estifanos Habtemarlam, Dean of the AU Heads of Mission in London said:
A large turnout of African diplomats, representatives of the British government and Africans in the UK in attendance enjoyed music, plenty of food, exhibition of products and arts & crafts from different African states.
The theme of the African Day this year is Nutrition, Food, Security & Wellness. Seun Oke, Vice – President of the Association of Nigerian Wellness / Fitness Prof. UK, and Isi Inyang, Co–founder of Trade & I C LTD both delivered brilliant presentations.
H.E. Sarafa Tunji Isola, High Commissioner of Nigeria said:
Tsungai Tsikirai & Band, provided authentic African Jazz & contemporary music. She's an award-winning, Zimbabwean singer & songwriter. In 2014, she was awarded best music by a female artist at the ZIMMA Award. In 2015, the Mporiro Festival awarded her for her contribution to contemporary music.
The evening was hosted by Journalist & Broadcaster #JuliannaOlayinka of Channels Television UK, who did an excellent job.
Committee members included: Dr Cyprian Heen (Nigeria), Ms Ubong Ekpo (Nigeria), Mrs Remi Onasanya (Nigeria). Mr Yared Tesfay (Eritrea), Mr Marouan Abousif (Morocco), Ms Sara Haufiku (Namibia) and Mr Kadri Mahmoudi (Tunisia).
