They are just saying that the TPLF is a defeated force and not a threat anymore. It has been so degraded that it cannot anymore launch offensives. But it is not finished yet. Instead of engaging the thugs in negotiations, why not keep the quarantine a few more weeks and let the people of Tigray take care of the eradication of the cancer. How is it that Abiy and company don't understand that the best solution for Ethiopians (Tigrayans included) is to erase TPLF "as if it never existed".

We know that TPLF is very much weakened - almost fatally defeated or annihilated. The question is why the PP-OLF does not allow Amhara Fano to finish it off? The answer is obvious:
1) They don't want the Tigray people be free from TPLF so that Amhara and Tigre will be locked in perpetual war, in the mean time OLF exploit the advantage to stay in power. This means harassing, subjugating, breaking the backbone of Tigres and Amhara ( in their own designations Habesha people) is their ideal dream.
2) In their wishful dream, PP-OLF wants to keep TPLF as junior partner (forever) so as to get the blessing of TPLF in keeping the illegal TPLF/OLF con constitution. Without this PP-OLF can not play games. The truth is, this is to the disadvantage of Tigres. Tigres should be the vanguard in fighting TPLF/OLF illegal constitution because it very much hurt Tigres more than anyone tribe in Ethiopia.
