On the surface Isaias's ideology of self reliance could be the answer but if you scratch in, the answer is Isaias has prolonged his stay in power by keeping the people poor, ignorant , dehumanized, militarized under " you have a mortal enemy " propaganda. Once Isaias mentioned he prefer some body with some goats instead of some body that comes to Eritrea with money to invest. Compare Humera and Eminihajer both are divided by the Tekeze river. I was told 50 years ago Eminihajer was far developed to Humera and the people who live in Humera used to go to Eminihajer for shopping. Just prior to the start of the war Eminihajer was a deserted village where as Humera was a bustling city. You can talk same story between Asmara and Mekelle,Axum and Mendefera, Adigrat and Adi Keyih etc.The cyber mafia of Isaias never talk about this.

The problem with the leeches is, they Always get watery in their mouth if the words such as donation or assistance is mentioned.well here is the downside of aid and donation

In Tigrinya, investment and trading mean donations, China is investing massively in Zambia and Zimbabwe not giving a charitable donations.

Eritreans should be asking themselves these questions on a daily basis, why there is no investment in Eritrea, is Eritrea worthy of an investment, why is Eritrea under siege, why is Eritrea under one man rule instead of comparing Eritrea to Tigray region which is still part and parcel of Ethiopia.

ቻይናዎች የዛሬ ስልሳ አመት መቶ ሚሊዬን ዶላር የአስብን ወደብ ዝንጥ አረገው ይገነቡላቸው ነበር ። በዚህ ስላሳ አመት ኤርትራኖች ብድሩን መልስወ ቢሊዬን ዶላር ያፍሱ ነበር። ግን አስብ ስላልተስራ አሁን ላስራው ቢሉ አንድ ቢሊዬን ዶላርም ቢስሩላቸው እድለኞች ናቸው ። እንደው አራት ቢሊዬን ዶላር ሊጨርስ ይችላል ስላሳ አመት በዋዛ ፈዛዛ በማስለፋቸው ። ሌላው ደግሞ ስላሳ አመት ሙሉ አንድ ወጣት አድጎዋል ማለት ነው። ይህ ወጣት ጥራት ያለው ስራ ያገኝ ነበር አገሩ ብት ስለጥንለት ግን እድሜ ለይሳያስ ይህ ወጣት በድህነት እድሜዎን ገፍቶ ምናልባት የልጅ ልጁ በደርሱበት ነው ከይሳያስ ሞት በኋላ ለምን ቢባል ይሳያስ በሞቱም አይለቃቸውም ኤርትራን ለጅብ ስጥቶ ነው የሚሞተው ። ይሳያስ ሲሞት ብዙ ተቆራማቾች ይመጣሉ ወርቃማዎችም አስመራ ገብተው የጦር ካሳ ይጠይቃሉ አስመራን ብትንትኑዋን ነው የሚያወጡዋት ያለ መንግስት አስቀርተዋት ይሄዳሉ ይህ ማለት የልጅ ልጅ ነው ስላምን ፀዋ የሚቀምስው ማለት ነው። ደህና ስንብቺ ኤርትራ ። ለምን ወርቃማዎቹን ወጋሽ ዋጋሽን ታገኚያለች።
