I was listening to an interview the former high ranking member of the derg government, Ato Fasika Sidalel, who named four (4) top military officers of his government (the 4 top ranks) and he indicated that they were all Oromo, by birth, but lived as Ethiopians. They got the position by merit, he added.

The generals you mentioned here are head of the the military and its sections, but you can't prove by an stretch of imagination that they were not there by means of merit.

They stayed back and decided to fight on and through that they also reached the ranks they have today, while you were spending your precious time as a refugee somewhere else. now you can burn inside out with envy.

Obbo Shimales Abdisa is there because all other regional leaders are also there, including your own Guraghe buddy. Oromia is a self-governing state, like all the other states in the country, and like all the other states in the country he won an election conducted by relatively free and fair polls, the first in its kind in the nations history, and elected to the office by the sovereign parliament of the state.
