Absolutely, moral upper hand has to be earned and cannot just be claimed. One way to earn it is by being truthful, impartial, and so on, not by being selective in your moral outrage, or by trying to save known criminals, or by committing worse things yourself. America has no moral upper hand on any issue in any corner of the world, least of all in Eritrea.

Among Eritreans, the guy is a moral lightweight who should fight in the featherweight division.
