The Defeat of Tigray: psychological impact, socio-economic, political and territorial loss

The TPLF treasonous attack on the North ENDF force and the genocide of Mai-Kadra Amhara of North West Gondar set off suicidal for the Tigray province. The self-inflated TPLF and its illiterate Tigre followers boasting of its bravery myth was busted in a week by ordinary Amhara Fano forces that cleansed TPLF from the Humera-Welqait area, areas illegally occupied by TPLF and its settlers. The untrained farmers shattering the stolen missile armed TPLF is huge psychological defeat and loss of esteem for the Tigres who have been barging war is their cultural rituals. The encircled and besieged ENDF which later freed by Amhara Force and Fano, finally got its turn to control Meqelle and other rural towns took decisive measure to destroy most of the fat TPLF rats. This further damaged the morale and psyche of TPF when the flee their luxurious hotel and seek refugee in caves. TPLF also paid heavy price for its more than 20 years of crime against the people of Eritrea. TPLF as we know was the reason for the suffering of millions of Eritrea under the sanction of the West. TPLF choked the life of Eritreans by working its arse off for the UN. More importantly, the abhorrent act and behavior of TPLF hurt the esteem, value and acceptability of Tigres in Ethiopia. Many Ethiopians saw unexpected behavior and destructive behavior of several TPLF fanatics, such as those long time residents of Dessie gave a lesson for most Ethiopians.

The defeat of Tigray in the battle also is a loss of socio-economic importance. First, this war proved TPLF or its illiterate Tigre followers are empty barrels. They are finally reduced to nothing and are left helpless, because of their own act of cruelty. The relation between Tigray and the rest of Ethiopia is like the relation between the moon and the Sun. Tigray's economy is shining not because of Tigray's own potential but because of using the potential from the rest of Ethiopia. If there were no Sun, the moon can't shine. The sun is the source of light for the moon. The irrational behavior of TPLF and its followers proved that Tigray is an economically weak province and there is nothing anymore to brag about. That is a defeat.

Politically, Tigray is almost dead. It's era of influence and control of the national political machine is over. This is a decisive loss. Any reconciliation or mediation will never ever recover it other than making an environment where Tigres can be peaceful, live and work peacefully. The restless TPLF brought loss, defeat, humiliation and subjugation to the people of Tigray province. Territorially, there is ZERO chance Tigray will illegally occupy Humera- Welqait and the Amhara of Korem-Alamata will never ever stop their grieve of illegal occupation. Korem-Alamata have never identified themselves with Tigre and they will not be part of the loser,

How do you measure defeat in a war? Loss in one battle is not a defeat. The war is still going on and it is too early to say who is going to win this stupid war.
My forecast from the beginning has been TPLF will come strong as a bridegroom and shaker and mover of the Horn Africa! So far TPLF has proved wrong both Isaias and his allies that their conspiracy and action to kill it has become a nightmare and they could be both buried in the hole they prepared for TPLF.

You measure defeat by the losses you suffered and have no chance of recovering. Let see what you agames lost.

You lost 40% of the land that you stole but which your new generation believes is part of Tigray. You lost Badme, a most humiliating defeat since you could have handed it over without any humiliation. What is more, the man who told Agames that Badme was adjugated to Tigray died the death of a dog in the war.

You lost most of money that you stole from Ethiopia. Most of the factories that you built with looted wealth are now destroyed.

You lost over 500,000 of your rag-tag militia, over 10% of the people of Agameland. Since most of them are under the age of 35, the loss of a whole generation will have a devastating impact on Agameland's future.

You created a long-lasting enmity with your Amhara and Afar neighbors, neighbours on whose good-will your well-being depends. Agames will never be able to settle and flourish in these regions. They have proven to be untrustworthy back-stabbers. The future cost is immeasurable.

The psychological damage to the young generation, who grew up believing that they are an exceptional people, is incalculable. They are now finding out that the Agame identity is a one to be ashamed of. It was easy to boast when you had the looting rights to Ethiopia but once that is gone, Tigrayans under 40 are seeing their people starve by the million and beg for food aid to be delivered to them. They are finding out that Agames are the cheapest and poorest people on this planet.

The list of what Agames lost is endless. I have just given some here.

Abundant thanks to Sesame! The answer to your question is eloquently and satisfactorily provided by Sesame. As to me, there is Zero gain for the TPLF to mention as it's success. Read it carefully. Accepting reality is 50% of the solution toward the right direction.

You see that is what exactly needed to happen to the [deleted]. When Germans was acting how the [deleted] are acting now, all the world did was breaking Germans spinal cord leave them with state of decaying morality, shame and unworthy of their identity. This is exactly what is happening to the [deleted]. Once the cycle is complete, you will never have any problems with [deleted] to the end of life as we know it. The [deleted] spinal cord is broken and Eritrea, Afar, Amara and the rest of the east Africa shall live in peace.

The worst and most bitter aspect of defeat is eating from the rationing hands and drinking from the cups of your enemy. TPLF is experiencing and living now this worst form of defeat. It is begging food, cash, medicine, etc. from the hands of its enemy.

Although defeat is bitter. It is also education, it is the first step to start something better. As we all know and the world knows as well, Tigre-TPLFs have not only tasted defeat, but they are also living it now. But the question is had they learnt from it and start to live peacefully with the rest of Ethiopians by stop dreaming on something of not theirs? Not sure, having heard the drum beating of sending those 50 years or older in the coming rainy season to war by the criminal cartel TPLF recently. The defeat of Tigres in the battlefield does not seem an opportune ground from them to learn but a propeller toward a black hole that will su.ck as many hundreds of thousands of Tigres soul. Already last summer 900,000 perished. Expect more from the unlearning people this summer too.

Only in the lands of the chipmunks of the TPLF 1+1 = 11. They have very pronounced cognitive disability. They don't even know the most obvious difference between a loss/defeat and gain. The TPLF and their Abay-Tigray republic has been dead years ago. They lost close to 1 million Tigres, they lost huge chunk of land which they illegally occupied- they are trimmed to size and still will be trimmed yet their natural size, but they are noisy barking like morning jungle monkey. I call this cheating the ordinary Tigres. Never read or heard as dumb stupid as these Tigre- TPLF chipmunks. Their fake glory crashed like a glass falling on hard floor, their greedy eggo deflated leaving them rolling on dirty street of the cities of North America and Europe, but still opnes their mouth wide as if they have any stature and relevance. They are a joke.

PM Abiy stated the goals he wanted to achieve by the invasion of Tigray in the below twit on the 10th of Nov 2020. They are:

1. To get 'the criminal junta is disarmed'

2. Legitimate administration in the region restored (He had previously declared Pres. Debresion's government illegitimate)

3.
The 'fugitives apprehended & brought to justice' ( members of the current Tigray government celebrating their 1st year anniversary of driving PM Abiy's soldiers out of Mekelle)

Operations are measured by the goals set out at the beginning of the operation. So, can you say PM Abiy has won? Absolutely not!

Our law enforcement operations in Tigray are proceeding as planned: operations will cease as soon as the criminal junta is disarmed, legitimate administration in the region restored, and fugitives apprehended & brought to justice — all of them rapidly coming within reach.

Brother Abere,
Excellent analysis, I could not say it better. Thanks for taking your time to remind those agames tplf with short memories that they were blown away by the mighty warrior Fanos, and with support of our allies.

Tplf is a parasite. It is used to leeching from others. What is shameful for an ordinary person it is not for tplf. Tplfs worst defeat is being humiliated and made irrelevant after leading the country for 27years. Like jula said bezerachu aydres
