Once again Abiy is being misled by Isaias for another round of war with TPLF. Both Abiy and Isaias by now know very well that their plan to destroy TPLF has failed, but they want TPLF to be militery weak so that it will not be a further threat to both of them. Actually Isaias is too concerned and afraid that TPLF may remove him from power by invading Eritrea. This new war plan will miserably fail and Isaias will be removed from power and Abiy may also loose his power unless Ethiopians save him.

Isaias is no more important for Abiy since Abiy's exit strategy from this quagmire is through quick peaceful deal with TPLF. Isaias has no exit strategy other than contuining the war to weaken TPLF to prevent TPLF from removing him from power and he is begging Abiy to slow the peace process and join him for one round of war.
