Eritrea's Golden Era under Emperor Haile Selassie ?

Post by Mesob » 18 Feb 2022, 16:44

Was Eritrea's golden era under emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia or under president Issaias Afeworki whose only harvest are the crushing poverty, never ending war, declining economic growth, migration and death in the Arab passage and in the Islamic world, death in the sea, Arabic slavery along the Arab passage and organ harvesting, mediocre sport activity with the entire team of athletes asking refuge in African nations (compare with the Eritrean soccer and cycling teams under Emperor Janhoy - Hamasien, Adulis, Tele, Ambasoira, May Laham and Mendefera), Eritrean music and arts at its best in the 1960s, 1970s ... ?
Hailese Selassie had no more than 20 prisons and police precincts in Eritrea, while Issaias Afeworki has increased this to 271 prisons, dungeons and concentration camps.
Show me the industries and factories built by Issaias Afeworki, here are some of Eritrea's best business enterprises in 1972 under Emperor Haile Selassie.
Was Asmara more civilized in 1972 than now in 2022 under Issaias Afeworki? This is a puzzle many of us, Eritreans, have now?
Just watch the video of the Asmara Expo 1972, and compare it with the docile and clumsy yearly so called "Eritrean Festival" of 2022 ?

Compare the old Asmara under HIM Haile Selessie and now under President Issaias Afeworki.
Asmara used to enjoy the cheapest electric and water pipe supply 24 hours a day, including its factories and industries.
Under Issaias Afeworki, getting electric power and drinking pipe water once a month is seen as miracle.

How did ur ugumania fare, under him?

I know you raised this issue in the hope that we may talk shít about him & Ethiopia to create animosity here, but we won't fall for that amateurish divide & conquer tactic.

The border b/n us & the amara killil will be opened & we'll trade with 1 another.

Here is the legendary Asmara Police Orchestra singing - Asmara Ketema, during the era of emperor Haile Selassie:

Filthy agame, there is no golden era to any Eritrean if his Eritreanism is taken away from them no matter what beautiful life they lead forced to become other nationals.
You funfunat agames are well known to sell your mothers mitrees to have a piece of bread to eat. We the Eritrean rather perish than to live large while our nationality is stolen.
And that mother fu@cker midget, cobwebbed, ugly sellassue never ever built any thing in Eritrea. He rather destroyed or stolen what the Italians left behind. And oh yeah, he murdered 100ds of thousand Eritreans and burnt schools, clinics and mosques.
He is lucky that he died before we had our hands on his tiny a@ss.
We rather live poor as ERITREANS than to live the American or European life styles and be called Americans or Europeans.
Unlike you filthy agames, we have pride and dignity and we know that in due time we will surpass the life styles of what you admired Eritreans have during the Italians rule.
Every thing you see in the video was what it was before he set his ugly feet in Eritrea, except his midget self, his ugly flag and his sis@sy lions statues.
Man, that mother grabber even uprooted the electric lights steel poles from Asmara, replaced them with wooden ones and install them in Addis.
That is a tip of the iceberg of his evil deeds.
But again, we don’t want to assume other nationals identities even if it was Kennedy who visited Eritrea while he baptized us as Americans.

Issaias has answered and supported my assertion (Listen the link below).
According to Issaias, Eritrea's golden era was under HIM Haile Selassie. Would this effect be that Eritreans wasted their -- precious sons and daughters, their well known social capital such as -- the hard working ethic and helping one another, the sophisticated entrepreneurial spirit, the sense of strong community, the respect for law and order, ... all based on the proven Hamasienait or Bahre Negasian code of conduct in the Higi Endabas -- by following few Arab slaves who hated their own identity, languages and history?
The question is that why did Eritreans fall this low from grace to end up in futile non ending wars, crushing poverty, slavery in the desert Arab passage to Sudan and Libya, death in the Mediterranean Sea, forced in Arab sex slavery. torture and human organ lose in the hand of the savage Arab and Muslim Rashayda Bedouins, never ending National Military service, the imposition of alien Arabic language on the place of their Tigre Tigrinya identity, lose of the former glory of its ports and towns ...

Listen to Issaias and his nostalgia to the golden era under the Emperor Haile Selassie:

You two idiots, funfunat agames, Eritrea’s beauty including the pearl of the Red Sea Massawa were not or being called beauties because of yours or your midget sellassie intrusion inside Eritrea.
If you have to give credit to its beauty and you want to be honest (hard to do being agame) give it to the Italians.
The British and your intrussions actually fu@cked us and our cities.
What is bothering you a”ss wipes agames is that you dearly miss slaving in Eritrea.
And yes Wedi Afom is correct to say that our cities look forgotten just like they were during British and Sellassie’s intrussions. And yes we could have changed them after we kicked your behinds from your dream country Eritrea. But the envy and the fact of loosing Eritrea you became envious and concocted evil to make us stand still with the help of your masters…..masters who finally threw you in the gutter like your agames sheramut agame moms dergue troops used condoms.

Wannabe Arab - Mesob,

If Eritrea had such a golden era under Selassie as you falsely claim it, why can't we come across a single Eritrean who expresses regret for Eritrea's independence?

In addition, for how long are you going to keep moaning and crying after Eritrea and not realising that 30 years have already elapsed since it has gained its well earned independence and Eritreans won't look back even if all Ethiopians on earth get down to cry day and night?

Get over it.
