The European Times: The UN to investigate massacres of civilians in Oromia, Benshangul, Amhara and Afar Regionsa

Post by Za-Ilmaknun » 17 Feb 2022, 12:58

https://www.europeantimes.news/2022/02/ ... war-zones/

"It is urgent to map massacres of civilians of other ethnic groups all over the country, to identify and prosecute the perpetrators. In this regard, the Oromo, Amhara and Afar regions should be prioritized but tragedies also took place in other places.

An independent UN inquiry commission needs to investigate the innumerable killings of civilians that have been perpetrated on the margin of the frontal conflict opposing the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) and the Ethiopian National Defence Force (ENDF) since November 2020, including in the Afar, Amhara, Benishangul and Oromia regions. The EU-Africa Summit in Brussels this week should also address this issue.

After the 3 November 2020 attack of a federal military base in the Tigray region, Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed launched a military offensive in the rebellious region.

During this war, the TPLF troops have killed non-Tigrayan civilians in their own region, invaded parts of the Amhara and Afar regions where they have perpetrated crimes against humanity, and used sexual violence as a war weapon. A few examples.

Less than a week after the conflict began, a community comprised largely of ethnic Amharas was targeted by a Tigrayan youth group known as “Samri,” close to the TPLF.

n August 2021, the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA), a splinter group of the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) killed more than 200 people in the Oromia region, according to the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC). Most of them were Amharas, who had often faced similar attacks in the past."

This is not good for Ethiopia.

I say it is bad, because the so-called independent UN inquiry commission, if allowed to carry out its investigation in Ethiopia, it will publish a damning report that will create a false equivalence between the Ethiopian government and the TPLF terrorist group. False equivalence leads people to believe that two separate things are equally bad. This appears to be the Neo-colonial powers' last ditch effort to deploy UN troops to Ethiopia under the guise of protecting civilians by presenting subtle forms of government incompetence in protecting its own citizens against violence perpetrated by the TPLF terrorist group that the Neo-colonial powers are arming and feeding through various UN agencies such as the WFP, WHO, etc.

If Mam Ethiopia let the white snake interfere freely in her internal issue,
This will be her end. there will be no coming out from it.
lets historical events,
-The Indian civil war between Muslims and Hindus in 1940 divided India into modern-day Inda and Pakistan.British
-Eritrean civil war between Muslim and Christia 1950.British interference
-Libya civil war between east Benghazi and Tripoli 2011.European union interference. until now no peace.
-Algerian civil war1970th. France interference.
-Ruandan genocide 1994 Belgim interference.
to say the least. all these people were lived together for centuries before the white snake appeared on their doorstep.
'There is no cure to the venom of the white snake. the white do this not b/c they are evil but their
business benefits kind of rely upon the weakness of any nation.

UN: We will set up an independent UN inquiry commission to investigate atrocities committed by the TPLF terrorist group.

Ethiopia: But you are the one that provided 1,100 UN trucks to the TPLF terrorist group to in invade the Amhara and Afar regions, not to mention supplying them with weapons disguised as "humanitarian aid." :|

UN: We will investigate those allegation as well.

Ethiopia: How is it possible that you can actually investigate your own crimes when you are the plaintiff, the defendant, the judge, the jury, and the executioner, in your own trial? You're insulting our intelligence.
