Tigray has many economic potentials enough to maintain a population of 20 milion. Tigray has many minerals including oil. It has a rich history and has never been colonized and yet maintians a well advanced society.
Tigray has vast agricultural land and water resources. Tekeze and Abay rivers are Tigrayan and will have to bee part of Tigray. Lake Sana is also historically part of Tigray, though there are now settled Bantu africans speaking aamharic, a pigeon form of Tigrigna.
Only tourism brings Tigray billions of dollars a year, which could be used to develop the manufacturing industries.
Tigray would need the right leaders. Up to now Tigray was ruled by non-Tigrayans or half-casts who have been eliminating the tigrayan elites. Tigray needs to addres this and take control it's own future with local cadres and leaders in the policy making organs of government and party.
