Sudan would stand to gain much more allying with Eritrea and Ethiopia than Egypt. The Egyptians just want to use Sudan. The Gerd dam will bring more benefits than harm to sudan. Egypt wants to sell the nile to Israel and keep subsahara poor and in chaos.
