Isaias Is Economically Illiterate

Post by Roman » 11 Jan 2022, 20:49

Listening to the interview Isaias talks about how America is in lots of debt and how Eritrea is economically in better situation. It seems Isaias is confusing personal debt with government debt and he seems to think debt is bad.

Let me answer these two questions separately:

A. Is debt necessarily bad?
B. Will United States collapse because of debt?

You have to understand that debt is necessary part of the economy itself and it's because of debt that people can purchase homes, cars, borrow for investments and spend more than their means. Debt is responsible for creating job growth for many people and without it unemployment would be high.

The second part:

The United States has trillions of debt but that debt is held by Americans themselves unlike in many African nations where debt is held by foreign nations or entities. What works for the United States to even a certain extent is that the dollar is a world reserve currency and therefore it's more capable of printing more currency by selling government bonds to people.

Look at Eritrea - Its crumbling while United States is advancing - Who the heck is teaching Isaias economics????

Busting the Eritrean self reliance myth: Eritrea has been one of the 5 most indebted nation in the world since 2000

The self reliance myth is the biggest lie that has ever been told on the Eritrean people. Eritrea has been one of the 5 most indebted nation since 2000-2019. In 2008 Eritrea actually was the 1 most indebted nation in the world. See the video

They are messed up. Amara should clean the Amara lands from Any Sub-humans. Don't kill them but just make sure they leave the Amara land. [deleted] in Tigray is normal and legal. to show your manhood in Tigray, one must rap as many as he can and it is legal. The Eritreans are lucky they don't have to live with those sub-humans.
