The principles of self-reliance that was quietly championed by Eritrea against overwhelming odds, and which has since become a new measuring stick to determining what makes an African country free in every sense of the word, is viewed as a threat by the Neo-colonial powers that want to maintain the subjugation of Africa's economic, political and social life.
Ethiopia's refusal to accept and compromise with the status quo has put itself at loggerheads with the Neo-colonial powers that have long treated the country of 110 million people as their African neo-colony, and suppressed the Ethiopian people's aspirations to become an independent sovereign nation, and from exercising their God-given right to control their own destiny.
The brotherly relationship forged between Ethiopia and Eritrea can be seen as the two most important pieces of the jigsaw puzzle in the vast continent, finally falling into place to herald a new beginning for Africans to stand their ground against Neo-colonialism and say NoMore!
