What’s unfolding in Ethiopia has all the makings of a genocide and we cannot wait for this to become another Rwanda before we take action. See my questioning of @AsstSecStateAF & @USAIDAfrica

In the last few weeks alone, over 30,000 Tigrayans have been rounded up into concentration camps across Ethiopia. Government officials have referred to Tigrayans as “rats” and a “cancer”. Given PM Abiy's media blackout, the situation could be worse than what we already know.(2/3)
The U.S. must take every available action to end PM Abiy & Eritrea's blockade of Tigray, get food aid to the 1 million facing famine, and prevent genocide. (3/3)

What a difference a week makes, a week ago you were supposedly knocking on Addis's door, the US advising everyone that can hear to evacuate, even the Zambia embassy got into the action and left, Addis and France followed suit. Now defeated, you went back to your Genocide Wallow. What a sorrowful creature. In a week from victory to utter defeat.

There are 435 House of Representatives , and one hundred Senators in US. If when one wakes up from hangover makes a bizarre statement, Eden, do not jump up and down. It has no effect at all because that person has no the slightest knowledge of what was going on. Just responds to the make believe headlines.

US is getting serious. What would Ethiopia do if America flies its planes straight to Mekele? Shoot them down? It seems the Congressman is escalating the situation and it will be very interesting if US dares to fly its planes and Ethiopia dares to shoot them down.

It has been very clear that when Junta seemingly control more areas raping, killing innocent people, destroying and robbing every village and towns on their way, these paid Politicians are Happy and Mute; but when Junta gets decimated by the Ethiopian Gov't, these paid Politicians throw every facade accusations and Lies using strong words such as Genocide against the Ethiopian Gov't.
