Re: ROMA, ITALIA: Etiopia in guerra, il Nobel per la pace Abiy al fronte |A starving country imports $billions worth in

Italian joining the wallowing ;) western echo chamber choir. you see one --you see them all.

The former Nobel Peace Prize winner:

Ethiopia was considered the most stable country in the Horn of Africa until a year ago and in 2019 Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed received the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts in concluding a peace agreement with neighboring Eritrea, with which Ethiopia was formally at war since 1998.

But a year ago the federal army had started a large military operation in the northern region of Tigrè, to defeat the separatists of the Liberation Front of the former Abyssinia of Italian colonial memory.

The federal government hoped to quickly take control of the breakaway region, but the situation was soon overturned: the rebels had repelled the attack and recently also pushed out of Tigrè, even threatening Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital.

Hunger very well armed:

Weapons, weapons, cursed weapons, denounces Francesco Palmas in Avvenire. "Since the beginning of 2021, at least one billion dollars have been burned by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to get more and more deadly systems, in a war that has already cost him between 2.5 and 3 billion dollars".

Last August, Ahmed was in Ankara with Erdogan to sign a military agreement and an agreement for the supply of TB-2 bombing drones, which turned the tide of the conflict in Libya and decided the victory of the Azeris over the Armenians.
Ottoman Imperial Urchia:

It seems that Ankara has made an iron pact with the Ethiopian spy agency Insa, to which it would have provided consultants and technicians to assemble at least 10 drones on site.

The Turks would also provide training and initial piloting from their giant military base in Somalia, while their specialists commute between Mogadishu and Addis Adeba. Drones and of course also intelligent mini-ammunition, which can be dropped in flight from drones, airplanes and helicopters.

Ships from Turkey and flights from China via Ukraine:

The Turkish naval relay and an airlift with China, another arms supplier. The Chinese use strategic transport from Ukraine Antonov Airlines, perhaps to avoid attracting attention, and triangulate them via the Emirates.

China - explains Francesco Palmas-, as the first partner and creditor of the Ethiopian government, is training its officers and is also providing their land artillery, supplying multiple rocket launchers. But nothing surpasses in abundance the aid that Ahmed is receiving from the emirs of Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Arsenal and money from the Emirates, and Ethiopia complicit:

From August 2021 to today, more than 100 Fly Sky Airlines cargo flights have flooded Ethiopian air bases with sniper rifles, armored pickups, drones and ammunition. Fly Sky, although based in the Emirates, has a fleet of cargo planes registered in Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan.

Ethiopian Airlines also participates in the "armed" airlift. Ghost flights documented by CNN. In one of those flights there were mortar bombs, Russian of origin, but also produced in Bulgaria (an EU country that supplies weapons used in an ongoing conflict?). A deal to follow.
