When agames in the 300 thousand of them were begging and slaving in Eritrea.

Post by Cigar » 30 Nov 2021, 17:34

Eritreans were in top of not only Africa but in the world in the 50s, 60s and 70s when it comes to music, melodies and musical instruments.
The below remix by the beautiful young artist Solomie was one of the songs of our Eritrean old amazing artists...Towelde Reda.
Wow, it is delicious.
But after the late 70s the Eritrean people put every thing on hold (music, football....remember it was only Eritrea was the only East African which ever won the African cup ever) and joined in drives for a greater independence struggle and achieved their dream with flying colors.
During those times, the funfunat agames didn't even know what a saxophone or a drum is all about.
It is just mind boggling that while every African country was going forward in those years, we shut our lives and now see that we are getting our past glories, while the rest are still begging to get fed.
We Eritreans are just unique and special breed people. And we are now fighting to free Africa.

Thank you so much Cigar for sharing such an amazing song! It is really painful to see our Shikor Eritrea in the present situation. This is due to the USA/England decision to amalgamate the industrialized & modern Eritrea with a feudalist country aggrandized by the folktales of the Pankrust family. All those socio-economic developments including sport & music were damaged & deteriorated deliberately by the British colonizers & later on the westerns slave of the Selassie feudal regime. In fact, the 30 years war of independence & the 30 years war & struggle to ensure our sovereignty have also greater impacts on the present situation. As the PIA clearly put it, the westerns are always anti-Eritrean because they fear greatly this creative & industrious society.

Much thanks brother Cigar! I know this was authored by Tewelde Reda. But this lady played it so well that it rekindled the good old time!
