FALSE: These images do not show the Ethiopian air force attacking TPLF forces at Kasa Gita front, Afar Region

These images advancing a claim that the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) attacked Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) forces at Kasa Gita front in the Afar region are FALSE.
The post, published on Facebook, is written in Afaan Oromoo and translates, “Breaking: victory news. Our hero Ethiopian Air force destroyed the TPLF Force at Kasagita front in Afar Region.”
Kasa Gita is a woreda, an administrative unit equivalent to a district, in the Afar region of Ethiopia.
However, Google reverse image search results, as seen here and here, show that the pictures have been previously published on different platforms.
The first image was published on the National News website on 25 January 2021, in an article about the Nigerian army making fragile gains against Boko Haram. The image description indicates the photo shows Nigerian MI-35 helicopters and copyright belongs to the Nigerian Air Force.
