The strategic solution for Tigray is not declaring independence but abolishing the existing Minilik created geopolitical governance structure of Ethiopia back to Emperor Yohannes and Axumite kingdom time. That is making Tigray in particular Axum the center of politics, economy, social, innovation and military in Ethiopia. The Federal states headquarter has to be moved to Mekelle immediately and to Axum within 1 to 3 years after making the necessary preparation. Some of the existing Federal states like Oromia and Somalia may want to be an independent state and should be allowed and willingly reintegrated with Ethiopia under confederation that will have liberalized market, same job market , joint use of infrastructure such as roads, air transport, electric power, etc. Amhara may be divided to Kimant, Agew and proper Amhara and integrated as federal states or as confederation with the Axum centered Ethiopian confederated states or Ethiopian United States. Ethiopian Airlines has to build an international airport and hub in Axum that will serve tourists, cargo and regional( including Eritria and Sudan) and international passengers to /from Africa as alternate and back up to the Addis Ababa hub.
