It is way overdue CNN to fire the Sudanese journalist. My guess is she was not bought. She has not spreading falsehood for money. I believe she was played on.
She does not have a journalist basic instinct and knowledge. You tell her something, well, she is rolling. As a journalist instead when you hear something, you be on your way to find collaboration.
In all her report so far, she has gotten her information from one or a few Ethiopians who are pro TPLF. That is enough for the lady to move on.
I think she has done a lot of damage to CNN. I do think her learning curve is not good. She jumps from one false story to another.
I think CNN should let her go. I think the Ethiopian government should work to expose CNN’s incompetence.
It seems to me when it comes to Ethiopian politics CNN becomes, what the former US president loves to call it, fake news.
