Investigation Uncovers Illegal Drug

A search of a home in Morden last week turned up an illegal substance not seen before in the community.
Chief Brad Neduzak says Canada Border Services Agency recently intercepted a shipment of Catha Edulis or "Khat" destined for Morden, which led to a joint investigation.
He says a search warrant was then executed on a residence last Thursday.
Neduzak says they seized approximately 5 pounds of "Khat," with a street value of about $1,100.
Neduzak says "Khat" is a flowering plant, which contains an amphetamine like stimulant, which causes excitement and euphoria.
It's believed to have originated in Ethiopia.
34 year old Hangassa Ahmed Ibrahim has been charged with one count of importation of a controlled substance.
Two others were also arrested.
Neduzak says the investigation is continuing with the possibility of more charges against all three.

He is a good antidote to the murderous OLF and Ayatola jewaarian. Khat is not the problem but his hate of Amhara. If he exsposes weysnne, OLF, and jawarians to the bone. I'm ready to forgive his useless insult.
