This is not a big deal. Here in US a president nominates to a post a person from the other party. I know at least two Republicans that Biden nominated to be ambassadors.
The most bizarre and shameful thing is some Ethiopians are trying to make an issue of it. Ethiopia to progress our way of thinking should develop. With primitive thinking it is almost impossible to create a dynamic society. This is primitive argument.
