Ethiopian Perseverance, holding on the truth

Post by DefendTheTruth » 26 Sep 2021, 15:54

Ato Demeke Mekonnon, Deputy PM of Ethiopia, delivered a bold statement to the UNGA in the face of all the challenges the country is facing currently.

The indices that he told the truth is when you see that the adversary were loud in their own fields but now left without words in a more open playing field of arguments, American Ambassador to the UN didn't reply to the request for comment from the press on his speech. Why?

Demeke artfully delivered his speech by first refuting the idea of unilateralism without mentioning anybody and then used the same concept to vehemently oppose America's current unilateral attack against Ethiopia, so now Ethiopia is not standing it alone. All those who favor multilateralism will side with Ethiopia and pay more attention to the case he presented on behalf of his country. The fake media, including the likes of CNN, AFP, Reuters, etc. will run out of steam now and run back with their tails in between their legs.

Ethiopia to world leaders: Be 'constructive' on Tigray
Prescriptions and punitive measures never helped improve situations or relations,” he said, less than 10 days after the United States threatened to impose sanctions against Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and other leaders if they don't take steps soon to stop the fighting.

“While cooperation and concern from our friends is welcome, we underline the need to employ constructive approach, cultivate trust and ensure understanding,” Mekonnen said, complaining that his country was facing a “unilateral coercive measure" without mentioning its source.

The U.S. mission to the United Nations didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
