The intercepted conversation of key figures in TDF which includes Baytona and a few others indicate that General Megebey is incompetent and should be demoted to Shaleka or Colonel level. They accused him of with the Debark debacle where 29,000 tegarus dead and wounded. Out of these 29k, the intercepted memo admitted for the disappearance of 18,000 tegarus being missing in action and over 4,000 wounded but escaped to the base and over 6000 taken POWs,
The memo accused Megebey for failing to advance in Gondar but failed miserably while TDF leaders made significant gains in Afar and Amhara in the Raya and Sekota direction.
This memo is intercepted just before TPLF is routed in Afar so it praised the front leaders in the east.
General Megebey will soon be demoted or sit on the back bench according to the intercepted information
