But politically speaking, they can't go away unchecked for the crimes they have committed. The fugitives are trying everything they can to evade criminal cgarges. They have no an absolute minimum of interest to help the people in Tigray. If that were the case, they wouldnt have blackmailed parents to send their kids in exchange for food aid. This criminals are the curse to "their own people" (better said as the people they trade politics with) and a cancer to Ethiopia and the whole continent.
As is the cancer disease, they have to be removed surgically or through something like chemotherapy. Tigray belong to Ethiopia and its up to the whole Ethiopia to determine its fate, after obviously the fugitives and their associates are brought to face justice.
I dont know what strategy Abiy has in mind but letting the fugitives draw the plan and try to control that plan is the worst and the most stup!d strategy a leader of a country can make. The latest caprices of the fugitives are they won't stop fighting until they a get a "humanitarian" corridor, in other words, until they get a direct access to supply of arms and ther things. They do so in harmony with their Western enablers. With all these nonesenses, what responses Abiy has are yet to be seen.
