During the 27 yrs in power, TPLF has gained good diplomatic relations with USA and European, etc countries. The case of climate change deal representing Africa, Melese Zenawi was a key player in favor of Weterners. In fighting Terrorists, TPLF gov was leading in decimating Alshababi with USA. Westerners don’t like Eritrea and Gobana’s marriage with Isias won’t be seen a healthy relationship, so they ( Westerners) don’t like both of these GOVs. Therefore, for Tigarus as a whole, that good old diplomatic relationship pays them back. As an Oromo, I advice Abiy, if you want to depart with out problem, call for immediate ceasefire and go for reconciliation, not only with Tigarus, but also with all rebels you labeled as Terrorists and other opposition parties.
