Efrem is the first to represent Eritrea in swimming, at the Olympics. Tomorrow, he will be in heat 5 seventh line. His PB is 23:93. He took gold medals in 2015 and 2016, in the Swedish Swimming Championship. And there are hopes, that tomorrow he will get through to the semi-final.
Aron was a bronze medalist in the 10,000m, in the All African Games. He also took bronze at the World U20 Championship and a silver, att the World Half Marathon Championship. His long-term experience is expected to help him, in this competition.
Yemane will represent Eritrea at the Olympics tomorrow, for his second time. He is ranked 27th in the World Athletics Association's ranking, for this distance. He went all the way to the finals, at the Olympics in Rio in 2016. He was a silver medalist, at the World U20 championship.
The cycling competitions at the Tokyo Olympics have wrapped-up yesterday, with the ITT. The three riders who represented Eritrea, Mosana, Merhawi, and Amanuel have expressed their sincere appreciation for the support from their fellow nationals. They also shared their confidence that Eritrea's flag will fly in every international competition, in the years to come.
