The last session of the Eritrean National Assembly was held in February 2002. That is 12 years ago! On its last session, the baito supported Isaias Afewerki's handling of the the crisis in the government. But it also asked the government to respect the rights of the imprisoned to a fair trial and ordered the government to urgently try them in an independent court.

What was Isaias's response? He made sure that session is their last session by refusing to acknowledge their existence from that moment onwards. He disbanded them and refused them the annual regular meetings for the past 12 years. Therefore, they have never met for the past 12 years.

The parliament was Eritrea's legislative body. Eritrea does not have a legitimate legislative body since 2002. The Executive, the president, has controlled all of the powers of the legislative and executive bodies. Eritrea became a one man band. Eritrea is probably the only country in the world which does not have the normal organs of the government; namely, the executive, legislative and judiciary bodies. There is no checks and balances. The law of the land is not discussed amongst the representative of the people. Any minister can write the rules of the land without any input of the stakeholders. The people do not even have representatives.

So, when is the long over due next session of Eritrean Parliament? the last session was in 2002! Has it been permanently disbanded for asking Isaias to bring to justice the parliamentarians held incommunicado since 2001?

Sovereignty for us Eritreans means the right to do things our own way without a white man telling us what to do.

It is intellectually challenging and extremely difficult for you beggar, aid-fed, inferior, mercenary agame with limited vocabulary to understand the true meaning of sovereignty, because you never had one, and nor will you have one in the future. All the territories you had acquired through annexation and acquisition have all been returned to their rightful owners, leaving you trapped inside a fast-shrinking enclave that is entirely surrounded by self-made enemies. Go tell your child soldiers about the executive, legislative and judiciary branches of your terrorist organization hanging by a thin thread.

Amazing! i can tell the day i was embarrassed for being an Ethiopian, that day was when TPLF won the so-called election 100% and the laugh of the Susan Rice. I will never forget that. What amazes me, they have the nerve to criticize Eritrea. the slave mentality is a curse.

After you funfunat aliet agames learn your lessons the hard way.
What did your fake democracy, constitution, free election or free speech got you?
Unlike you low IQed funfunat agames, we don't put the cart before the horse.
With all you freaking negative posts about Eritrea, why are you wishing us the best constitutions now?
We are building concrete foundations which will eventually lead us to focus in our internal issues.
As of now, destroying woyane and its supporters is our number one priority.

Brother Cigar! I have never seen such morons like the Agame clan. Having lost all the lands they looted from Eritrea & Ethiopia as well as their 500,000 ragtag militias, they should have hidden in their mom skirts instead of repeating the same old empty bravado in the social media. It is necessary to conduct depth research on the Agame clan by Zoologists to determine their distinctive nature with animals
