Abiy is facing armed resistance in Oromia and Tigray yet has carefully avoided all anti-democratic measures, why Blinken is having difficulty painting Abiy a dictator. They wanted Abiy to drop the election and stay in Tigray so he could be painted a genocidal dictator, but Abiy refused to follow their script.
Compared to the statesman Abiy, now it is Blinken who looks like an erratic tin pot dictator with no moral compass. And not condemning woyane incursion in the federal state of Afar renders empty all Blinken's arguments against Abiy and Ethiopia.
