We need to be fair. What are Amhara speaking people doing in Adi Arqay? They are mispronouncing the names of the villages. They have no historical attachment to such villages as Adi Goshu and many other villages with Tigrigna names. The name of the villages is not in Geez. Why would Geez use Tigrigna names? It is better and rational to make such villages run under Meqelle administration. All non-Tigrayans, Agew, Amara, Shanqilla etc could live in the villages and towns with Tigrigna names. But the administration should be under Tigray. Education, infrastructure building etc should run by an office in Meqelle. The inhabitants need to pay taxes to Meqelle or Tigray Government.
With all villages given back to Tigray, Gonder and other areas in the region have enough resources to lead a reasonable life.
