We need to work towards uniting Ethiopia by creating the political conditions leading to equality and respect of all ethnics and religions. Compared to India and Nigeria, Ethiopia has less ethnic groups. The problem is making equality part of the constitution and punishing those who promote genocide of any ethnic groups. It is just prohibiting any one by law to stop profiling ethnic groups and giving them names like calling Tigray "hyenas" or other names is criminal and should be punished by law.
The other problem is the current administrative division of Ethiopia based on Ethnic lines. This should be abandoned. We need to create about 30 smaller provinces to facilitate administration. This could lead a federal state, called Ethiopia.
Neither TPLF nor EPP will be able to solve the current crisis in Ethiopia. TPLF is ethno-federalist and secessionist. EPP (Ethiopian Prosperity Party) is unitary and tribalist on the basis of Amhara domination. These forces should not take power. Similarly forces like OLF should be disbanded.
We need to divide Ethiopia on historical basis. States like Lasta should be reincorporated. There should no Tigray, Oromo or Amhara region. We just create new provincesas used to be during the time of the emperor.
We need to ban Amharic as a working language. We can use Geez if we want to keep our tradition. We have to use English as a working language to facilitate business and technological innovation. No other foreign language should be used as a working language in Ethiopia.
