-With his obsession for power Abiy became the mole within EPRDF and was operating as a double agent.
- His coming to power was pre-designed by external powers and Amhara elities. TPLF was forced to accept his election as PM.
- As soon as Abiy was inaugurated to his PM position, after vowing to respect and run the country as per the constitution, he started to dismantle TPLF dominated military and security system and started to override the constitution. He removed TPLF appointees from key positions and immediately started unholy alliance with Isaias and the Arab countries. He received unaccounted billions of dollars as an incentive to comply with Egypt demands and help the Arabs to penetrate the market of Ethiopia/Africa and gain access to agricultural lands.

- Isaias became the god-father of Abiy and Isaias security system has been installed in Ethiopia replacing TPLF security system. Abiy openly claimed Eritrea is a blessing for Ethiopia and he was constantly meeting Isaias. It was disgusting to see Abiy wagging his tail like a dog whenever he meets dictator Isaias just until the start of the war in Tigray!

- Isaias and Gondare elities had a long standing strategy of eliminating TPLF so that they both could be the dominant force in the Horn of Africa with out any challenger. Abiy was easily convinced and agreed to be part of the plot to destroy TPLF and this is the root cause of the war. Everything what Abiy claim caused the war is lie!

With that above background,Abiy strongly feels that TPLF will not forgive him and they will not only remove him from power but will make him to stand at the international Criminal Court (ICC).

Therefore Abiy will continue the war with TPLF until the war reaches Addis Ababa, Arat Killo. May be at that time he may be forced to seat for negotiation or escape from the country same as Mengistu did. I Wish him good luck!

My advise to him is to ask for guarantee for the above risks from TPLF through USA , distance himself from Isaias/Gondare elities and immediately start peaceful negotiation and resolve the problem peacefully which is good for Ethiopia. The concept of destroying a political opponent is a wrong strategy whether in Ethiopia, in Eritrea or elsewhere.

No one negotiates with terrorists whose aim, officially, is to destroy the country. Your leaders did not even hide their ultimate goal of disintegrating Ethiopia.

Now, didn’t you say also “we will not negotiate with Abiy” when the ENDF decide to leave Tigray and you foolishly thought you were heading to Addis? Mengistu also said the same and failed to timely negotiate and finally was forced to escape from Ethiopia.At that time, Ethiopia was at the risk of disintegration and every body suffered and so many people died. Negotiated peace is the way to minimize losses while achieving required goals. With regard to the designation "TPLF is a terrorist" , it is just part of the political game to demonize it rather than reflecting the reality. People forget that TPLF was the hard core of EPRDF that prevented Ethiopia from disintegration and stabilized it, built one of the fastest growing economy in the world, took millions of people out of poverty, that started the GERD strategic project and completed it to 68%.
