A comprehensive narrative

Post by justo » 17 Jul 2021, 03:34

We are not going to get to know Tigray by reading what the NY Times, CNN or The Guardian write about it. We are 1st hand witnesses and have our own account of events, but we need a comprehensive narrative on Tigray so that we can avoid future wars.

Tigray has been dealt a bad card, and cannot survive economically without taking what is not hers. It has the ambition to be equal to others, but cannot achieve this on her own. To survive it needs to control what is not hers, but has neither the mental or physical wherewithal for this. The best way to deal with Tigray is to develop Ethiopia, and turn the symbolic Addis into an ultra modern megapolis for the rest of Ethiopians. Modernising Addis is like a psychological warfare on Tigray, with its psychological hung-ups.

Abiy should commission a committee to come up with a comprehensive narrative with the proper vocabularies so that he would not need to respond to every gimmick it comes up with.

The challenge in Addis is the tigreas still dominate the economy
Most of the NGO elites Ethiopian employees based in Addis are tigreas as you can see they’re winning the propaganda wars with lies (Ethiopia is represented in UN, WHO any other international organizations by mostly tigreas)
The top layer management of the biggest enterprises in Addis telecom, airlines, import export, others are dominants are the tigreas
Most Ethiopians millionaires with owners of most of the high rise buildings, malls, shopping centers are tigreas dominated
So as Addis grows this soft juntas sympathizers get wealthy and their influence grows…whereas in other cities tigreas are insignificant minority… keep that in mind

To decommission their military officers and spies but leave intact the kleptocrats and economic mafia doesn't sound smart. As part of the comprehensive action oriented narrative, you will have to reclaim the stolen wealth including the stolen positions of influence as well. All these were not gained through fair means but as a result of political influence and have to be redressed. You open up their books and look for any kind of irregularity, the way the FBI went after Al Capone.

If you leave them alone you are promoting the narrative that they gained all that influence through fair means, and not as a result of political domination that they now have lost.

The TPLF is already a known quantity in Ethiopia, Kjetil Thonvoll cannot travel back in time and change its history. TPLF has already happened.
Listen to these two idiots conversing about a different Tigray and a different reality. This is what they are saying, and I am not paraphrasing
1. Tigray has legitimate reasons to want to attack Eritrea, Eritrea defending itself is war crime.
2. Everything Ethiopians say in social media is propaganda. Tigray is truthful, might sometimes misinform but never intentionally disinforms.
3. Telling TPLF Game Over and unifying EPRDF is warmongering, attacking the Ethiopian 5th army is self-defence.
